S Surgen en el Oriente Prximo, en la regin conocida como el Creciente
Frtil. Esta era una regin muy rica en plantas frutales silvestres, de ros
caudalosos, y reas con una gran cantidad de animales.

Son los territorios correspondientes al Levante Mediterrneo, Mesopotamia

(Zona ubicada entre los ros Tigris y ufrates) y Persia. La regin
comprendera desde el valle del Nilo y la orilla oriental del Mar
Mediterrneo hasta el norte del desierto de Siria, y desde el norte de Arabia,
toda Mesopotamia hasta el golfo Prsico.

Estas reas son las que hoy conocemos como Egipto, Israel, Cisjordania,
la Franja de Gaza, y Lbano, adems de secciones del ro Jordn, Siria, Irak,
el sudeste de Turqua y el sudoeste de Irn.
