 INTRODUCTION
In our daily life, we use mathematics in
various fields. This paper portraits the role of
mathematics in all aspects of our daily life. We
know that mathematics is applied directly or
indirectly in our everyday life.
 DEFINITION
o The conclusion implicit in the elementary
conceptions of spatial and numerical relations,
and which includes as its main divisions
geometry, arithmetic, and algebra.
o The study of the measurement, properties, and
relationships of quantities and sets, using numbers
and symbols.
o The science of structure, order, and relation that
has evolved from elemental practices of counting,
measuring and describing the shapes of objects.

MATHEMATIC
Mathematics is a central of importance to
modern society.
It is essential in the physical sciences,
technology, business, financial services and
many areas of ICT.
Mathematic forms the basis of most scientific
and industrial research and development.
 USING MATHEMATIC TO UNDERSTAND OUR
WORLD
Student will examine the mathematics underlying
socially-relevant questions from a variety of
academic disciplines.
Students will construct and study mathematical
models of the problems.
Sources will include original documentation
whenever possible (such as government data, reports
and research papers) to provide a sense of the very
real role mathematics in society, both past and
present.
