The value of T-test was greater than T-
table value (26.9 > 2.074). It meant that
collocation method could significantly
improve the English vocabulary
achievement of the second year
students at SMA Bajiminasa
Hypothesis testing
A. Conclusion
Collocation can improve the English
vocabulary mastery significantly of the second
year students at SMA Bajiminasa Makassar. It
can be seen through the result of pre-test and
post-test. The students post-test was higher
than the students pre-test.
B. Suggestion
The researcher recommends to apply
collocation as one of the method or media ways
in vocabulary mastery and to give attention at
the interesting method in teaching to make
students interested in English, especially to
teach vocabulary.
