The new development of the Windows OS , Windows 7.
Helping you to speed through everyday tasks, Widows 7 is designed for a
faster and more reliable performance, so your PC runs just the way you want
it to.
New features include-
 HomeGroup
 Jump List
 Snap
 An improved taskbar
In Windows 7, you can find more things in more places—and do it faster.
Features of Windows OS (Windows 7)
New features of the Window 7 OS include:
 Jump list-Takes you right to the document, picture, song or website you visit each day. To open
a Jump list just right-click a program icon on the windows7 taskbar(You can also find it on the
Start menu) Jump list also allows you to "pin" whatever files you like there to allow quick and
easy access. The Jump List for Internet explorer shows frequently-viewed websites. Windows
media player lists commonly-played tunes. Jump list also provides quick access to commands for
things like composing new e-mail messages and if your not happy with the line-up of the icons
you can re-arrange them by clicking and dragging.
 Home group-While connected two or more PCs running Windows 7, HomeGroup automatically
start sharing your music, video, and documents the connected PCs. HomeGroup is password-
protected and puts you in total control and you decide what gets shared and what stays private.
You can make your files “read only”, so other people can look at -but not touch- your stuff.
 Snap- A new way to resize open windows by simply dragging them to the edge of your screen.
Depending on where you drag the window, you can make it expand vertically, take up the entire
screen, or appear side-by-side with another window.
 Start typing into the Start menu search box, and you'll instantly see a list of relevant documents,
pictures, music, and e-mail on your PC.
