What is the Monitoring System?
The Monitoring System is an electric circuit with electronic devices
that monitor and observe the condition of the machine
continuously.

The Monitoring System shows the status , warnings , faults ,

events and other many operations.
The Components of Monitoring
System

Engine and pump controller.

The monitor panel.
Input components:-
Switches.
Senders.
Inputs Engine & pump outputs
Sensors. controller
Output components:-
Action lamp.
Action alarm.
CAT data link.
Engine and Pump controller

The Engine and Pump controller will monitor the system through
the inputs & the controller will make adjustments through the
outputs.
The controller will adjust the speed of the engine & the flow of the
hydraulic pump due to the machine condition and selection of the
operator.
The controller is connected to the machine through two 54-pin
connectors.

The monitor panel

The monitor panel has two functions:-

Display indicator.
Allowing the operator and service person to input information
and commands into the controller.
 The monitor is also capable of displaying the operating time of :-

- engine .
- main pump .
- travel motor .
MACHINE INFORMATION
MONITOR DISPLAY THE FOLLOWING STATUS INFORMATION:
ENGINE RPM.
DELIVERY PRESSURE OF THE MAIN PUMP (DRIVER SIDE) .
MAIN PUMP DELIVERY PRESSURE (IDLE SIDE).
POWER SHIFT PRESSURE FOR THE MAIN PUMP.
 INPUT AND OUT PUT OF THE
CONTROLLER
INPUT / OUTPUT (BIDIRECTIONAL DATA LINK).

A\ INPUT (DISCRIBE MACHINE SYSTEM STATOUS).THERE

ARE TWO TYPES:-

1-A) SWITCH INPUT (KEYSWITCH).

1-B) SWITCH INPUT (OPERATIONAL TYPE).

2-A) SENSOR INPUT (FREQUENCY).

2-B) SENSOR INPUT (ALTERNATOR).
2-C\ SENSOR INPUT (PWM).
2-D\ SENSOR INPUT (VOLTAGE).

Temperature switch e.g. coolant temperature switch.

pressure switch e.g. Engine oil pressure switch .
Flow switch e.g. Air filter switch .
Level switch e.g. hydraulic level switch
 Sensors

Frequency sensors e.g. engine speed sensor .

PWM sensors e.g. feedback sensor (governor actuator) .
 Senders

PROCEDURE :-
1\ display main menu .
2\ select service options from CAPS screen .
3\ input password (0001) .
4\ select machine info option .
5\ choose the desired option .
 WARNING OPERATION

1\ LEVEL 1 (LOW LEVEL WARNING)

DISPLAYED ON THE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY .

2\ LEVEL 2
DISPLAYED ON THE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND THE
ACTION LAMP WILL ILLUMINATE .

3\ LEVEL 3
WARNING ON THE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY, ILLUMINATION
OF THE ACTION LAMP AND SOUNDIN OF THE ACTION ALARM
 EXAMPLES OF WARNINGS

WARNING FOR LOW FUEL .

WARNING FOR HIGH ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE .
DECREASING ENGINE OIL PRESSURE .
