HISTORY

Yoga is derived from Sanskrit word YUJ which


means to add to join to unite or to attach.
It is originated from Veda, oldest scripture of India
(4000 B.C) and systematically presented by the
Sage Patanjali in Yogasutra around 150 B.C.
Evidences shows that Beginnings of Yoga is related
to the Indus Saraswati Civilization in northern
India.
FOUNDER

Hiranyagarbha (The one lord of creation) is the


founder of Yoga. Hiranya- light and Garbha-
source .

1. PHYSICAL PURITY
