New ACI 423.7 Requirements

Major change in ACI 423.7-14: Encapsulated Unbonded


Tendon Materials

All unbonded tendon materials used in structures designed


by ACI 318 or ACI 350 must be encapsulated.

Exception: Nonencapsulated tendons allowed in industrial


slab-on-ground applications where specified.
