Homework
Homework is a good way to
help develop individual
responsibility. Homework
should not take more than 35
minutes. It should be a review
of skills and, therefore, should
not be stressful. Students will
usually have homework
several nights a week.
These assignments will be
filled out in their planner. The
planner will need to be signed
nightly.
Students will have a
homework folder as well. It is
their responsibility to put the
needed assignments and
materials in this folder.
Students who do not turn in
homework on the morning it is
due will need to miss recess or
a free time to complete the
homework. If this develops
into a pattern, a teacher will
contact you. There are always
exceptions. Please jot us a
note if there was a good
reason that your child was
unable to complete homework
that night
.
