How was this Plan Developed?

Michigan: No State Funding for K-12 School Facilities


May of 2016: Bond Proposal to add elementary classrooms and
gymnasium on to the Middle/High School defeated
September-October 2016: Conducted online Bond Proposal Survey to
get input from school district residents (results posted on school
website
2nd Facilities Assessment Completed to prioritize needs at Mather &
Middle/High School over the next 20 years (results posted on school
website)
Spring of 2017: Conducted Public Meetings to gather additional input
from school district residents
July 2017: After several meetings to refine the proposal, the School
Board unanimously voted to put the proposal on the November 7, 2017
ballot after receiving approval from the Michigan Department of
