Pre Sales and Sales

In TCS, Project management office (PMO) is an


organisational unit that takes care of the
centralisation and co-ordination of the
management of the projects.
There are three processes inside the Pre-sales and
Bidding management for the customers to engage
customer for the business solution. They are:
Request for Information (RFI)
Request for Quotation (RFQ)
Request for Proposal (RFP)
Pre Sales and Sales
After the proposal has been given from the company and an RFP has been
generated by the client, the following parameters are kept in close
schedule:
Company capability
Team structure
Governance model
Service level for RSA
Penalty or rewards
Value addition index with respect to competitors
Once all these parameters have been checked upon, a liability section
should be signed by both the parties which contains the basic
confidentiality agreements and how they would be implemented upon.
