Installation of License server

- Our recommendation to install the License server onto a server computer.

This is running as a service on server and client computers communicate
with the server via a TCP port.

- Port number is configurable (default value is 2999)

- Open License server port on the firewall.

- HW key (USB dongle). Have to install its driver too. (SafeNet Sentinel)
(Restart required)

- After that the licenses are manageable remotely from any computer by using
a browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome). Special user name / password created.
(Normaly I am using admin/admin)

Installation of eBrowser

- eBrowser is a plug-in for Internet Explorer. (ActiveX component)

- Have to create the local settings on every computer (license settings, local
cache).
- We can install it onto as many computer as You want it is independent
from number of licenses.
- There are two versions of eBrowser
eBrowser light it is free, with limited capabilities
eBrowser it is licensed
- Our recommendation is to use latest IE. It is running on earlier versions too.
The best is to use IE7 or higher.
