 Definition of deafness:

 Learning Environment of Deafness:

The teacher should provide a safe and supportive classroom of deafness students.

For example, the teacher when she knows that she has a student with hearing
impairments should support the student and try to provide all stuff that they, such
as visual supplements (video, pictures, board, chart) (Lamanilao, D. 2017).

Integration:
Deafness students are able to integrate with
ordinary students in the classroom, and also
understand the teacher on the one hand what
they want and understand the material faster
than the remaining students and you face a

Deaf students in an inclusion sitting are able
to learn with their peers from ordinary
students, but they need a great support from
the specialist in the field of Deaf Disease in
order to benefit and learn as quickly as
ordinary students.

Accommodations:
The teacher must find the problem that the
child is facing in order to change the
educational method in the educational method

basic curriculum taught by the students. If the

Activity for the high level: this activity help
the students to remember the first letter of
word for each picture, and they can make
words from the sign language.

Activity for medium level: from the sign

language, the students recognize and find
the letters of it and make words.

Activity for the low level: the students look

at the word in the iPad, then they use the
keyboard to type the word.

School psychologist: assess the student.

Special educators: write informal observations, and evaluate the student in some types of
behavior and achievement.

General educators: provide documentation of the students problems.

Related service providers (audiologist): provide information that have been assessed on specific
areas.

Medical doctors: use the medical records for special education services (depending on the
disability).

Speech therapist: promote the development of communication.

Social Worker: provides support and information to the parents. Information includes cochlear
implants, child development, hearing aids, communication options, and parenting tips.

Abdulrahman since his birth he had ear problems, he did the process of cochlear
implantation. After that he heard a very light and weak voice, he learned to speak
the sign language (classical Arabic or formal language) and writing. He can also
read the lips. He has a drawing talent.
