The diesel engine is one type of internal combustion motor.

In diesel
engines, fuel ignition occurs because the fuel is injected into a
cylinder containing air with high temperature and pressure
conditions. Therefore, the diesel engine is also called a machine with
the ignition of compression. Machines with this compression ignition
produce exhaust emissions high enough and harmful to health and
the environment. High levels of Nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon
monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2) and other emission particles
associated with diesel fuel are an issue which has long appeared.
Natural gas is an ingredient burn potential to
replace conventional transportation fuel with the
goal of producing diesel engines with lower
emissions and more environmentally friendly.
Natural gas consists of mixing hydrocarbon
bonds ie methane (CH4) as the main constituent.
In addition, other components of natural gas
constituents are ethane, propane, butane,
nitrogen, and carbon dioxide gas.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). CNG is a
compressed natural gas and has a pressure of
200 bar
COMPOSITION OF NATURAL GAS
Diesel engines that use CNG as fuel there are 2 types

fuel oil
Temperature, pressure, and mass fraction in combustion
chamber with variation of fuel composition between
diesel-fuel and CNG with CNG and diesel-fuel ratio of 95%
-5%; 90% -10%; 85% -15%; 80% -20%; 75% -25%; 70% -
30%. The addition of Fuel oil into the combustion chamber,
resulting in an increase in temperature values that occur in
the combustion chamber.
From several variations, the largest pressure value was
obtained from combustion, with CNG mass composition of
85% and 15% diesel fuel and the resulting pressure in the
combustion chamber reached 73.93 bar and the
temperature reached 1058.57 K.
Based on the SFOC graph (Specific Fuel Oil Consumption),
it can be seen that the addition of fuel oil (C19H30) to the
combustion process will result in increased SFOC from the
engine
