lower literacy levels, and few recreation spaces

Lessons Learned

Interactive games and high audience participation were highly effective.


-evaluating audiences knowledge, Germ tag.

Visual aids helped to keep the lesson focused.

Recommendations

Working with the Fire Department to teach elders about fall safety and emergency
prevention.

Partnering with local churches and Duffy Elementary Resource Center to develop
more food pantries to alleviate food scarcity and poverty.

Teaching about the dangers of substance abuse to youth


in the area.
