SAP stands for Systems, Applications and Products in


data processing.
SAP is an enterprise resource planning software .
ERP is designed to support and integrate every
functional area of a business process.

Determination of requirement- what material or


services and which supplier.
Creating Purchase Requisition- an internal document
informing purchasing department.
Creating Purchase Order- order is approved and
assigned to a supplier.
Goods receipt/ Invoice Received- material is received
and quality is verified.
Invoice verification/ Vendor Payment- vendor is paid PO
is accomplished.
Master Data

Created centrally and is valid for all applications.


Material Master Data - information on the materials
that a company can procure, or produce, or store or sell.
Vendor Master - information on vendors from which a
company can procure or it can sell.
Inventory Management

Management of stock either on value or quantity basis.


Planning, entry and keeping records of all goods
movement
Updating all stock quantity and value in inventory in
