This design thesis explores the design of ARTIST HUB. The main aim of this
project is to promote artists who cannot afford their own studios to uplift their
talents and meet up the spatial needs of different artist .it sets a learning platform
for young blooming artists community.

1. Southern part of tamilnadu where there are no such kind of
projects to enhance art or artists. That can be a Sub centre for
lalith kala akademi.
2. Heritage sites can add value to this project to enhance the
tourism value of the state.
3. GARHI artist village can be renovated.
GALLERY FOR GOLDEN ERA OF SOUTH
ASIA
AIM :

To create a GALLERY FOR CHOLA ERA OF SOUTHERN INDIA


where infos are presented virtually and also to enhance the
scope of tamilnadu tourism. Cholas ruled tamilnadu from
9th century to 13th century during this period tamilnadu
reached new heights of excellence in art and architecture
.Tamil historical novel ponniyin selvan witten by kalki
narrates the chola dynasty during 10th and 11th century.
OBJECTIVE :

# To annalyse and study about the administration and cultural


contribution of cholas in art,architecture literatue and religion.
# gallery would be designed based on the life style of cholas and
markable incidents during that period.
# Historical Informations from the novel ponniyin selvan and
incidents would be presented with sophisticated electronics
Technology in which audio, video and 3-d visual, 360 degree shows
and display would be used to show varied knowledge.
# To encourage and teach the specified art and craft flourished
during this period and also to reate workshops based on the
vernacular materials of that area.
#To enhance the traditional and cultural programes related to south
india.
