Different extratives and standard Conclusions
Leaves of a young plant The crude methanolic extract of O. indicum and its different partitionates
exhibited mild to moderate -antioxidant, antimicrobial, membrane
Antimicrobial Screening stabilizing and thrombolytic activities. On the other hand the methanolic
Di-chloromethane soluble fraction (DCMSF) and carbon tetrachloride extracts of leaves of O. indicum and its different partitionates showed
potent lethality in brine shrimp lethality bioassay. In addition, the
soluble fraction (CTCSF) exhibited the inhibition against microbial growth
methanolic extract showed statistically highly significant activities in case
having zone of inhibition. of anti-diarrheal, peripheral analgesic and central analgesic activities.

This is only a preliminary study and to make final comment the extract
should be thoroughly investigated phytochemically and pharmacologically
to exploit their medicinal and pharmaceutical potentialities.
