Web of Science

Web of Science (previously known as Web of Knowledge) is an

online subscription-based scientific citation indexing service
originally produced by the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI),
now maintained by Clarivate Analytics (previously the Intellectual
Property and Science business of Thomson Reuters), that provides a
comprehensive citation search. It gives access to multiple databases
that reference cross-disciplinary research, which allows for in-depth
exploration of specialized sub-fields within an academic or scientific
discipline.[1

Emerging Sources Citation Index

Page issues
The Emerging Sources Citation Index is a citation index produced since
2015 by Thomson Reuters, and now by Clarivate Analytics. It is accessible
through the Web of Science.[1] The index includes academic journals "of
regional importance and in emerging scientific fields".[2] Jeffrey Beall has
stated that, among the databases produced by Thomson Reuters, the
Emerging Sources Citation Index is the easiest one to get into and as a
result it contains many predatory journals

Who's Afraid of Peer Review? Science 04 Oct 2013:
Vol. 342, Issue 6154, pp. 60-65
DOI: 10.1126/science.342.6154.60

The results show that Beall is good at spotting publishers with poor quality
control: For the publishers on his list that completed the review process, 82%
accepted the paper. Of course that also means that almost one in five on his list
did the right thing—at least with my submission. A bigger surprise is that for
DOAJ publishers that completed the review process, 45% accepted the bogus
paper. "I find it hard to believe," says Bjørnshauge, the DOAJ founder. "We have
been working with the community to draft new tighter criteria for inclusion."
Beall, meanwhile, notes that in the year since this sting began, "the number of
predatory publishers and predatory journals has continued to escalate at a rapid
pace."
