Don’t start with the lesson plan, let it be the last thing to do.
Prepare all the materials you need to make your lesson successful.
Put yourself in the Ls’s shoes and anticipate the difficulties they may meet during learning.
Try to make things clear through illustration, miming, gestures and asking questions that help
find the exact word.
Let the Ls guess the meaning and never be impatient to get the right answer.
Try all what you have prepared and experience it in the class, reflect on your work and
decide whether to adopt the draft plan or change your strategy of doing the lesson.
Prepare yourself by checking pronunciation, appropriate definitions for the new words to
help your Ls.
The more you have knowledge, the more your Ls trust you and respect you, so enrich your
cultural studies with the cross-curricular competence.
