3. Connection: My project is a case study into Moyamoya, and this shows that there is a
growing awareness in the United States. It also shows the health expenditures in the
United States. This provides context for my project and shows the relevance. The
regional guide shows that physicians in more than just the United States could benefit
from a guide to the disease. The service that conducted the study is actually based in
India. It was pretty emotional being in the room with the mother of the patient who
inspired my project. She couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her daughter, who
was already special needs. This article shows me a little piece of how many people are
affected in the same way.
