Plane Angle & Angle Measurements

A plane angle is determined by rotating a ray (half-line)


about its endpoint called vertex.

Conversion Factors:
1 revolution = 360 degrees
= 2π radians
= 400 gradians
= 6400 mils
Types of Angles

Right Triangles

The Pythagorean Theorem:


“In a right triangle, the square of the length

Note:
In any triangle, the sum of any two sides must be
greater than the third side; otherwise no triangle can
be formed.
