 INTRODUCTION

Environmental Ethic
The studies about the conceptual foundations of
environmental values as well as more concrete issues
surrounding societal attitudes, actions, and policies to
protect and sustain biodiversity and ecological systems.
(Taneja and Gupta,2015)
 INTRODUCTION
The Importance of Environmental Ethic to Human life :
To control the explosive scientific knowledge,
shortly growth of technical ingenuity, and
explosive growth in moral problem.

The Origin of Environmetal Ethic was born at the first Earth

Day in 1970 when environmentalists started urging
philosophers who were involved with environmental groups
to do something about environmental ethic. (VIII Southern
connection 2016 Congress)
 Purpose :
To identify the differences between Gorontalo and
Matsuyama in Environmental Ethic side view.

Methodology :
1. Study Literature :
• The culture of Japanese hygiene according to Shinto
Religion
• Early education for children about hygiene cultured for
people’s comfortable
• Take a some Information from International Journal,
BALIHRISTI 2012,
2. Field Interview and observing about Environmental ethics
in Matsuyama and difference with Gorontalo

 Disscussion
Based on the result, the problems that can be identified such as :

“Degradation of moral values in education aspect,culture, and religion”

Since the western education era in Indonesia especially in Gorontalo
changed, the moral values that tought for a long time from era to era
decreasing until this post modern condition

“mutual relationship between government and citizenship not working

well”
The lack of communication and the policies that not strong enough made by
government making society being selfish and don’t care about enviroment
around them.

“Concept of commons not clear”

By lack of understanding the owner of a thing like the owner of sea,river,etc.
which is belongs to society making people think it belongs to government.
 Conclussion

Enviromental Ethics really impact to the society life. From

Gorontalo to Japan. The values in every aspects of it really
important to control the problem that identified through
the study literature ,observing and interviewing.
 Future Plan

Collecting scrap papers

Making Garbage Brochure

Glued to the Plastic

And give to Gorontalo city people
As a sample

Maximize the use of consumables if it can
LONG-TERM still be enabled to be more useful

Start from ourself in Family Environment

Establish an association of youth especially

students in order for a real action
