heat pump can cover the heating requirements of the house and
domestic hot water over the complete heating season.
• REMARK: When the ambient outdoor temperature is lower than
field setting [5-03] and setting [5-02] is activated, then the domestic

[4-03]=3, is the setting that results in optimum coverage of domestic

hot water heated by heat pump in relation with [8-04]. Has the same
functionallity as setting [4-03]=1 added with following restrictions:
• The booster heater is OFF when the heat pump is active in domestic
hot water mode.
• This results that the Booster heater will not work simultaneous with
the heat pump for hot water production and that the setting [8-03] is
not relevant.

A => Capacity demand from the hydro-box

The capacity demand of the hydro-box is based on the ΔT

the standard filter of the heat pump system)

If air, moisture or dust gets into the water circuit,

problems may occur. To prevent this:
1. ■Only use clean pipes

• Open the valve and check the correct operation. Water may be very
hot!
• Water flow coming from the relief valve (on the tank if applicable) is high
enough, no blockage of the valve or in between piping is suspected.
• Water coming out from the relief valve and contains debris or dirt:
• Open the valve untill the discharged water does not contain dirt anymore flush
the system and install an additional water filter (a magnectic cyclone filter is

• Carry out a thorough visual inspection of the switch box and look for obvious
defects such as loose connections or defective wiring

There are 2 different spare part pcb’s for the indoor LT-CA:

1. for the 004 class (dedicated flowsensor)

2. for the other classes (same flowsensor)

Together with the spare part, there is an instruction delivered

with settings that need to be done in order to set the spare part

8.6. Replacement by spare Part pcb

Attention! Replacing the indoor pcb or remocon or both might
mean that all fieldsettings are reset to factory setting.
Therefore, it is advised to take pictures of the 15 screens in
overview settings.

When pcb is replaced and spare part settings are done, you can
check the overview settings again and correct them back to
previous fieldsettings as desired.
