Unit 1
 Subject- Verb agreement : subject, verbs, singular and plural nouns and
verbs, rules of subject-verb agreement
 Sentence correction : modifiers, parallelism, pronoun-antecedent error,
verb-time sequence error, comparison error
Unit 2
 Sentence completion : types of questions- single and double blanks,
eliminating options using verbal clues
 Active Passive Voice : active and passive voice, conversion of one voice to
another
Unit 3
 Para-jumbles : types of Para-Jumbles- fixed and moving para-jumbles,
verbal clues to solve para-jumbles, logical clues to solve para-jumbles
 Narration : direct and indirect speech, conversion of one speech to another

 Critical Reasoning : concepts - premise, assumption, conclusion,
strengthening statement, weakening statement, types and patterns of
questions, indicators to identify basic concepts of critical reasoning
 Email writing : parts of an email - writing a subject, salutation, body of
the email, dos and donts

 Reading Comprehension : techniques for smart reading -skimming,
scanning and summarizing, types of question
 Essay Writing : writing an introduction, logical sequencing of ideas,
generating points or supporting ideas and examples. concluding the Essay
Unit 6
 Analogy : analogy questions, pattern of questions, common trick questions,
eliminating options in analogy
 Miscellaneous Exercises : combined exercises
