INTRODUCTION

Pipefitting is the occupation of installing or repairing piping


or tubing systems that convey liquid, gas, and occasionally
solid materials. This work involves selecting and preparing
pipe or tubing, joining it together by various means, and
the location and repair of leaks.
INDUSTRY OVERVIEW

' Industrial fittings comprise of a number of components that are


used to connect pipes, tubes, flared, pneumatic and other fittings for
in-line, offset, multi-port, and mounting configurations.

' Fitting construction and material specifications are usually


application-dependent.

' Industrial fittings have traditionally been made from a variety of


metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, copper, cast
iron and bronze.

' With rapid advancements in the field of industrial fittings and with
continual R&D in this industry various new products and models are
widely in use.

and varying growth rates in these uncertain economic times.

CONCLUSION

There is no equivalent way to learn things than learning it practically. This


internship report would reveal the various learning process. I have learned
some of the key things like how to behave in an organization?, how to deal
with customers? How to communicate with senior officials?

With respect to the above study and the findings thereby, the company
has definitely entrenched into the urban market. I found that company's
marketing strategy, financial position, & Human Resource Management
are satisfactory.
