EL "ZERO CONDITIONAL"
 LA CERO CONDICIONAL
• Se usa mucho para hablar de verdades generales.
Por ejemplo: If you heat an ice cube, it melts.
(Si calientas un cubito de hielo, se derrite.)
• La formulación de the zero conditional en inglés involucra dos
cláusulas.
LA PRIMERA CLÁUSULA:
• Conocida como the if clause (la cláusula que empieza con if) o
the conditional clause (la cláusula condicional), introduce una
condición.
LA SEGUNDA CLÁUSULA:
• Conocida como the main clause (la cláusula principal), introduce
un posible resultado de la cláusula condicional.
• If you heat ice, it melts.
Si calientas hielo, se derrite.
• Ice melts if you heat it.
El hielo se derrite si lo calientas.
• If it rains, the grass gets wet.
Si llueve, la hierba se moja.
• If you freeze water, it becomes a solid.
Si congelas el agua, se convierte en un sólido
• Plants die if they don't get enough water.
Las plantas mueren si no obtienen suficiente agua
• If you mix red and blue, you get purple
Si mezclas rojo y azul, obtienes púrpura.
• If you want to come, call me before 5:00.
• Si quieres venir, llámame antes de las 5:00.
• Meet me here if we get separated.
Encuéntrame aquí si nos separamos.
• If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.
Si calientas agua a 100 grados, hierve
• If you cross the line, you are in our country.

• You get orange if you mix red and yellow.
Obtienes naranja si mezclas rojo y amarillo.
• If you feel sick, go to the doctor.
Si te encuentras mal, ve al médico.
• Don't open the door if someone knocks.
No abras la puerta si alguien llama.
• If she eats something with milk, she gets an allergy
Si toma algo con leche, le da alergia.
• If you eat healthy, then you are strong
Si comes saludable, entonces eres fuerte.
