Interconnection of the
PROCEDURE: New Permeate Pipe to
the Existing Pipe
KEYPLAN
SITE PREPARATION
1. Close all valves connected to the existing Ø1600mm pipe and the existing
concrete reservoir.
2. Remove Ø1600mm blind flange by loosening bolts and nuts
DEWATERING WORKS
After removing the blind flange, the remaining water that is trapped inside the
existing Ø1600mm pipe shall be continuously drained.
Using crane, to lift the 1600mm x 1000mm reducer and flexible connector to its
final location and held in place during installation.
Install the Ø1600 x 1000 reducer and Ø1000 flexible connector assembly by fixing
bolts, nuts and washers.
After the successful installation, open all the valves that were previously closed.

Hydro-testing, Flushing &
