IFX2
IFX2 boards form XPIC workgroups to expand the capacity of an Integrated IP radio hop (native E1+Ethernet) when transmitting native E1
services, native Ethernet services, native MPLS/PWE3 services, or a combination of these services.
ISX2
ISX2 boards form XPIC workgroups to expand the capacity of an SDH radio hop or Integrated IP radio hop when transmitting native E1
services, native STM-1 services, native Ethernet services, native MPLS/PWE3 services, or a combination of these services.
ISV3
ISV3 boards function as SDH IF boards to transmit SDH radio services, or as Integrated IP radio IF boards to transmit Integrated IP radio
services (native E1+Ethernet or native STM-1+Ethernet). Should transmission capacity need to be expanded, XPIC is supported.
NOTE:
Compared with ISU2/ISX2 boards, ISV3 boards support 512QAM or higher-order modulation schemes.
NOTE:
EM6TA/EM6FA boards have the same functions as EM6T/EM6F boards. The only difference is that EM6TA/EM6FA boards support IEEE
1588v2 but EM6T/EM6F boards do not.

ODU
The ODU is the outdoor unit of the microwave system. The ODU is mainly
used to convert the frequency or amplify the power of the signals
1 Antenna interface
2 Grounding screw
3 IF interface
4 RSSI interface
1 Antenna interface -
2- Reflector
The reflector is mainly used for reflecting electromagnetic waves and providing the directive gain:
-In the TX direction, the reflector reflects electromagnetic waves radiated from the feed boom so that
electromagnetic waves are directional.
-In the RX direction, the reflector reflects electromagnetic waves received from a wider space, and then
assembles electromagnetic waves to the output interface of the feed boom.
3- Shield
The shield is installed on the antenna. The shield is mainly used for suppressing the radiation of the side
lobes.
4- Radome
The Radome protects the antenna from damages caused by the wind, rain, and ice. Electromagnetic
waves can be radiated through the Radome.
5- Mounting bracket
The mounting bracket is used for fixing the antenna onto the pole and for adjusting the azimuth and
elevation slightly. In addition to the mounting bracket, a reinforcing rod is required for fixing the antenna
with a larger diameter. For details, see the instructions for the antenna.

Changing the NE Name
To better identify the NE in the Main Topology, name the NE according to the NE geographical location or the device connected to the NE.
Procedure
1- In the Main Topology, select the NE whose name is to be changed. Right-click on this NE, and then
choose Object Attributes from the shortcut menu. The Attributes dialog box is displayed.
5- Click OK.
A dialog box is displayed for confirmation, click OK.
6-Click OK.
Procedure
1- Select the NE from the Object Tree in the NE Explorer. Choose Communication > Communication
Parameters from the Function Tree.
4- Click OK. Close the dialog box indicating the operation result.
The new name of the NE is displayed below the NE icon in the Main Topology.
Procedure
1- In the Main Topology, right-click the NE whose ID needs to be changed. Choose Object Attributes.
Procedure
1- Select the corresponding board from the Object Tree in the NE Explorer. Choose Configuration > IF
Interface from the Function Tree.
4- Click Apply.
Procedure
1- Select the corresponding board from the Object Tree in the NE Explorer. Choose Configuration > IF
Interface from the Function Tree.
4- Click Apply.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
5- Click OK.
Procedure
1- Select the NE from the Object Tree in the NE Explorer, and choose Configuration > NE Time
Synchronization from the Function Tree.
2- Select the NE to be synchronized with the NMS and set Synchronous Mode to NM.
3- Click Apply.
4- Right-click the NE whose time needs to be synchronized and choose Synchronize with NM Time from
the shortcut menu
This task allows you to configure 1+0 unprotected, XPIC-enabled, or 1+1 protected radio links. To configure N+0 radio links.
Procedure
1- Select an NE from the Object Tree in the NE Explorer. ChooseConfiguration > Radio Link
Configuration.
3- Configure the basic attributes for the local NE based on site requirements.
c) Optional: Click Advanced and configure the advanced attributes of the radio links.
6- Click Apply.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
7- Click OK.
When a 1+0 service is converted into 1+1 HSB protection group by configuring an IF 1+1 protection group, the original E1 service is not
interrupted. The board where the original service exists, however, needs to be set to the working board.
Procedure
1- Select the NE from the Object Tree in the NE Explorer. Choose Configuration > Link Configuration
from the Function Tree.
3- Click New.
The Create IF 1+1 Protection dialog box is displayed.
5- Click OK.
Procedure
1- In the NE Explorer, select the desired NE from the Object Tree. Choose Configuration > Physical Link
Aggregation from the Function Tree.
2- Click New.
The Create Physical LAG dialog box is displayed.
