• This institute is set up to train senior manager

from banks in india and south asia
• The architect of this project is Charles Corea
• The project is located in Hydrebad in hot and
dry condition

• From site plan we can see the zoning done as
per the fuction such as
• Staff housing
• Administration
• Hostels
• Institute
• The institue is the centre part and attachment
to different areas
• The main road is perpendicular to building
• The entrance to the building is through
entrance plaza in front of institue
 Courtyrad

• There are total 12 courtyrad and one central

kund in building
• The courtyard is provided for hot dry climate
of hydrebad
• The courtyrad is not only used for climatic
purpose like wind and light
• It also connects different parts of the building
and also segregate
• The courtyard also forms an informal
conversation space
• The courtyard are located in every part of
building like Staff house , Hostels , institue
• The CENTRAL KUND is located in centre of
hostel cluster it is space for seating with step
stones

• The structure is planned in different cluster
• As we can see from the site plan that the
cluster are done as per functions
• The cluster are connected throught courtyard
• We can see the cluster are also segregated by
courtyard as sen in staff housing
 PATHWAYS
• The pathways are one important feature of
this structure the pathways are sufficiently
lighted and ventilated as they are present
around the courtyrad the one side of
pathways is open to the courtyards
