 SOA 11g Installation – getting started

1. Make sure your database is installed and working

Must be XE or 10g 10.2.0.4 or 11.1.0.7

2. Get the latest version of the installation instructions

3. Copy contents of DVD into c:\stage

4. Unzip rcuHome.zip (linux add rcuHome top-level dir)

5. Unzip soa.zip

6. Follow Installation Instructions

2. Unzip SOA11gFoundationTutorial.zip and copy

into into c:\po
 SOA 11g LABS – Purchase Order
Processing

• The purchase order details can come in from any

source (in our case a testing page)
• the credit card status for the customer is validated
and if the credit card is good, the order continues.
• An order for a large purchase price requires a manual
approval step.
• The order is written to a text file to be processed by
the fulfillment house.
• For approved orders, the order is sent to the
fulfillment carrier.
