What Is Sensation?
• The immediate response to sensory receptors (eyes, ears, nose, mouth,
fingers) to such basic stimuli as light, colour and sound
• Based on our senses

• Sensation Is the immediate and direct response of the sensory organs to


stimuli.
• Sensation describes what occurs when a person's senses are initially
exposed to the external stimulus of a product or brand marketing.

packaged it with white colorless Can, But Unfortunately coke
zero didn’t attract the consumers the white coke zero was
not selling as much as expected. After complete research on
product they have changed color of cane white into Black
and coke zero selling increased 20 to 30%

sensation which attracts their end users / consumers
• In ad of Bold (Body Spray) Fawad khan shows his success behind is Bold
Tongue for testing
• Food Product Companies usually use these types of ads for sensation
• Those advertisement shows tastes of particular Product.
• Both ads give you test attraction.
Skin For touch, Texture, Feeling
• Skin Product companies (Beauty Creams, Soups, Hair colors )
using these type of ads for attracting their consumers.
• Always taking care about colors, fragrance, texture
• Costly advertisement usually hire celebrities.

Subliminal Perception
• “Subliminal” means “below the threshold," so subliminal messages are
aimed at consumers’ subconscious minds. Many marketers include
subliminal references to sex, power, happiness, hunger or wealth in their
print, online and television ads or in brand logos.
• For example, one print ad for Coca Cola featured that some argued was
shaped in the image of a naked woman on the top of a can. Presumably,
that image would shift the perception of the drink and make it more
attractive to the target market.
• Another Example can be AXE perfumes, Palmolive Beauty Soup.
What can resist the gentle touch of (Palmolive )
(The massage behind above sentence itself is subliminal)

their end users, that image would shift the perception of
consumers
• now most of brand taking interest on subliminal ads.
