HISTORY OF GADGETS

The history of gadgets spans as far back as humanity itself.

Humans have always created devices and appliances with
specific practical purposes that were initially thought of as
novelties, due to unfamiliarity with and initial unwillingness to
accept the technology. one of the earliest, most well known
gadgets created is the wheel and a more recent gadget, the
Apple i-Phone, appears to be the beginning stages of yet
another gadget-turned-necessity.

"Certainly most people enjoy the novelty of a gadget that

introduces new convenience to their lifestyle.”
-Richard Thalheimer
WATCHES

All watches provide the time of day, giving at least

the hour and minute, and usually the second.
Most also provide the current date, and often the
day of the week as well. However, many watches
also provide a great deal of information beyond WATCH WITH I-POD
the basics of time and date.
As miniaturized electronics became
cheaper, watches have been developed
containing calculators, video games, digital
cameras, GPS receivers and cellular phones, mp3
and i-pods etc.

Now a days digital cameras are there in the existence.
Digital cameras can do things film cameras cannot:
displaying images on a screen immediately after they are
recorded, storing thousands of images on a single small
memory device, recording video with sound, and deleting
images to free storage space. Cameras are also available
in few other gadgets of present time like cell phones and i-
