LITERATURE SURVEY
 Design a system for smart industry. Which will generate the
power by using solar panels, and managing the loads in such
away to use solar energy first and then use grid power.

 Moreover our second aim is to monitor the Electrical parameter

monitoring will be performed using microcontroller which is
capable of controlling the system and all the processes like,
sending and receiving data from wireless module, display
character on LCD, control the relays, make some calculations etc.

 In this project our aim is to monitor current, voltage, frequency

and other things of the system wirelessly on LCD and P.C, In case
of any abnormal behaviour system can trip off its self.

 The other important aim is to monitor the three phase fault

detection and protect the motor from any damages by turning off
the load.

 The other objective is to monitor the temperature so that

protection for loads and labours can be performed.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
 Monitoring the temperature of machines or wok
room.
 Monitoring the electrical parameters.
 As the electricity is quite costly so generating less
expensive electricity.
 Management of the sources so that the cost of the
bill is decreased and by using less expensive
source first.
 Fault in three phase will damage the motors and
other loads.
 Wireless monitoring the parameters and other
 Manual controlling is quite difficult and old
method.

LDR SENSOR

• Light dependent resistor

• Here LDR is used to Sense the

 absence of any phase

• The working principal of LDR is shown

 in the figure

• We will use 5Kohm LDR.

CONCEPT OF CURRENT TRANSFORMER
Microcontroller sense
the current draw by
load through ADC
or comparator,

ADC convert Analog to

digital signal. In case of Pic
ADC is not required.

When a simple transformer (P.T) is

operated in reverse direction it
becomes C.T.
INTERFACING OF CONTROLLER AND
RELAYS

•As controller did not have enough power to drive the relays so relay
driver (uln2003/uln2803) is used here.
•Here Relay is used as
a switch.
•We can also use
transistors instead
of ULN2003.
•ULN 2003 consists of
Seven I/O.
TEMPERATURE SENSOR

 Temperature
dependent resistor.

 It is also called
thermistor.

 We will use 10k

thermistor.

 the working principal

is shown in the figure.
Why using ZIGBEE instead of
other
W communication
HY AUTOMATI MANAGEMENT? modules?

 Reliable.

 Less expensive.

 Can be easily interfaced with controller.

 Long range (compare to RF, Bluetooth etc)

 No interaction with other frequencies.

 No money expenditures.
