SECONDARY VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION
• Short-range goals
• Patients receive transportation for follow-up appointments
• Pharmacy trips after being discharged
• Long-range goals
• Organizing a software for coordinating transports
• Expanding mileage reimbursements to grow program from 4 to 12 drivers
• The idea of transportation for patients who are unable to ULTIMATELY
get it, allows patients to be more accountable. Not only are
they accountable, the follow-up care they need is vital to
better health therefor they will be guaranteed a chance to
get it.
• We know that following up on appointments can be difficult
when one does not have the transportation to get there, but
it is key in recovery as well as curing those who are sick that
they follow-up.
