¦ Douglas McLain
As Co-Founder and Partner of NGFS, Mr.
McLain serves as one of the driving
creative and motivational forces behind
NGFS. He is involved in all facets of the
operation, including general management
and the creation of sales concepts and
strategies, as well as the recruiting,
training and employment of over 600
financial advisors.

 
¦ Brett Carter
Mr. Carter has 20 years of experience in the
financial service industry. Under Mr. Carter¶s
leadership, 1st Mariner Mortgage became one the
of the leading mortgage lenders in the Mid-Atlantic
Region with annual production exceeding $1
billion in closed loan volume. Mr. Carter was also
President of VA Mortgage.Com, the Internet
Mortgage Division of 1st Mariner Mortgage, which
provides mortgage services nationwide.

 
¦ Frank Neubauer
Frank Neubauer is responsible for the training and
management of over 600 NGFS loan officers across the
country. He is a financial services expert with over 40 years
of in the banking and finance industry. As President and CEO
of Taneytown Bank and Trust, Mr. Neubauer grew the bank¶s
assets from $140 million in 1992 to $300 million at the time
of its sale in 1998. During that time he led the efforts for
major initiatives in technology, the introduction of a sales
culture, the purchase of a mortgage company, the
acquisition of the deposits of a savings and loan institution,
and the establishment of an insurance agency and a trust
alliance.

NGFS was formed through the joint efforts of
1st Mariner Bank of Maryland and Institutional
Marketing Services to create a delivery channel
for financial strategies that blend traditional
banking products and services with insurance
and estate planning products and services. The
strategies are applicable to almost everyone,
including consumers who have generally been
ignored by the financial planning community.

NGFS uses creative financial
techniques that have a proven ability
to help consumers achieve their
financial goals. These goals could
range from paying off their mortgage
early, funding a family member's
education, increasing their retirement
income, obtaining long term care or a
variety of other financial goals.

Since 1st Mariner Bank¶s formation in


1995 it has aggressively sought to
deliver a wide variety of financial
products and services. 1st Mariner¶s
acceptance in the market is
evidenced by its success in terms of
growth.

Vith a focus on Cash Flow Strategies
pertaining to the senior market, it
became obvious that Reverse
Mortgages are and will become even
more of a vital tool to help seniors of
all financial profiles with their
retirement income, long term care,
and estate concerns and/or
objectives.

Reverse Mortgages are the fastest growing segment of
the mortgage market. Each of the last several years
has seen the number of Reverse Mortgages
consummated more than double that of the prior year.
The market for Reverse Mortgages is expected to be in
the growth stage for the remainder of the working
career of most experienced financial professionals. This
is in part due to what has been referred to as the
³Aging of America.´.For example, for the first time in
the history of America, there will be more people over
the age of 60 than under the age of 30«and baby
boomers will be turning 60 for the next twenty years!

More recently we have expanded our recruiting
to include experienced Reverse Mortgage Loan
Officers as part of the development of a
national support effort for programs
implemented by NGFS.

Individuals who join NGFS in this capacity have


the opportunity to become employed as a full-
time loan officer with a comprehensive benefit
