The aim of this study is to AUTO POWER TRANSFERRING

WELDING MACHINE

By means of this project we can switch over the welding current

power automatically based on the type of metal

 Need of the project

 Welding of steel pipe and aluminium for many industrial

applications.

 To reduce the mechanical wear problems and the thermal

stress.

 To reduce the welding time.

 To increase the quality of the welded joint.

 Scope of the project

 Different properties are required from different parts of the

same weldment.

 Improving the ability to join materials with engineered

properties are enabling new approaches to light-weighting

automotive structures.
