Definition of Adolescent

Adolescence is a transition period which the


transition of children to adulthood with the
development of all aspects. Adolescent divided into
three stage :
1. Early Adolescence age 11-14 years old
2. Middle Adolescence age 15-17 years old
3. Late Adolescence age 18-20 years old
Definition of Adolescent Delinquency
Adolescent delinquency is the behavior of crime and
delinquency young children which is socially sick
symptoms in children and adolescents is caused by
one form of social abandonment, so they developed
a form of deviant behaviour.

Impact
 Physical dangers: infection sexually diseases,

2. The Abuse of DRUGS

 DRUGS or Narcotics, alcohol, psychotropic drugs and addictive


substances is one of problems that occur in teenagers. In February
2006, it was reported, the last five years the number of drug crime
cases in Indonesia rose 51.3% increase or 3,100 cases every year. The
highest increases occurred in 2005 as many as 16.252 case or ride a
93% from the previous year. In 2011 as many as 26,500 drug cases
successfully revealed the increased 12,62% from 2010 the
pecandunya average age 15-24 years
Impact
 The psychic impact: slow work, sloppy, edgy, lost
confidence
 Social impact: mental disorder, antisocial, immoral, and
excommunicated the environment
3. Violence and Brawl in Adolescents

 Case brawl and violence in adolescents is increasing, in 2013 found a total


of 112 cases with killing 12 high school students in Jakarta, while the total
in Indonesia reaches 255 cases and killed as many as 20 people.
 Youth violence has seriously affected because often last a lifetime, not only
on the medical aspect, but also the psychological and social functioning.
Risk factors
 Individual risk include hyperactivity, impulsive, aggressive, control bad
behavior, alcoholism, drugs, attitudes
 The lack of monitoring and supervision of adolescents by parents,
parental discipline education is too harsh, inconsistent.
 Risk factors in the community and society include low levels of social
cohesion in society.
4. The community Motor
 Motorcycle gang is a place that gives adverse effects to young
children. Development, could not be separated from the ongoing
fashion trends at the time. reckless action that needs to be
suppressed. this would lead to bad behavior such as skipping
school, stealing, robbing and killing.
Adolescent Health Problem
 Death Rate
Deaths due to diseases including cardiovascular disease (1.3 / 100000)
for ages 10-14 years, and (2.7 / 100,000) for ages 15-19 years. As for
the ferocity reached 3.3 / 100,000 for ages 10-14 years and 4.6 /
100,000 for ages 15-19
 Morbidity
The main cause of morbidity is with 3 habits that carry the risk that
drug abuse, sexual activity, and use of motor vehicles / recreation.
 Risk Behavior Relations
Risk behavior are connected to one another by estimating that the onset
of a behavior can determine impending problems
 Other Medical Problems
Mental health problems during adolescence include depression as much
as 15%, causing a risk of suicide, eating disorders such as anorexia
nervosa and bulimia nervosa diet due to overload
