It is a figure of speech that is giving life


to inanimate objects.

It is an exaggerated statement or claims


not meant to be taken literally.

Example:
They arranged themselves in the
window.

 To write clear and coherent sentence using
conjunction we must remember the following:

 Coordinating conjunction is used to give equal emphasis to a pair of


main clauses. Let us remember the acronym FANBOYS. ( for, and,
nor, but, or, yet and so)
 Subordinating conjunction is used to join independent clause and
dependent clause. The most common subordinating conjunctions
are: after, although, as, because, before, how, if, once, since, than,
that, though, till, until, when, where, whether, while.
