AGRICULTURE IN INDIA:
 Most Important sector of Indian
Economy : Provide 18% of total GDP
 Provide employment to 50% of
workforce.
 India is world’s largest producer of
pulses, rice and wheat.
 India is 2nd largest fruit producer
PROBLEMS FACED IN
AGRICULTURE:
1. Agriculture Labor
2. Disease Detection
3. Water Supply management
4. Soil health
5. Management of Crop
Residue
SOLUTION TO AGRICULTURE
LABOR:
APPROACH TOWARDS DISEASE
DETECTION:
 Drone to inspect the field.
 A ML model which will detect the defected
plants.

Defected plants
APPROACH TO SOLVE WATER
SUPPLY MANAGEMENT:
 The model predict that which crop need
what amount of water and supply
should be according to that.

Sprinkling System
INCREASE SOIL HEALTH:
 Do Crop Rotation : Use more than one
crop for farming.
 Keep the soil covered

 Increase Crop Diversity : In corn and

soybean use a third plant to maintain crop
diversity.

 For this task we can analyze the behavior of

plants. That which plant fit good with which
plant. Data analytics plays important role in it.
MANAGEMENT OF CROP RESIDUE:
 Generate Electricity : We can create
electricity with crop residue.

 ExtractFuel : We can extract fuel

from the crop residue.

 Use crop residue to convert biomass

to bio-energy.
