Partnership for a Service Related Business
• This would be a partnership because it consists of two owners who are equally responsible for the business. This means that
the partners have to work together to guide the business and that the profit after expenses will be split up 50/50. In addition,
this partnership will share the risk between two entrepreneurs.
• I chose a partnership type of business because an interior design business has lots of work that can be divided between the
two partners and the risk is significantly less than if the business had a sole owner. This business needs creative minds to work
together, and thus a partnership is an ideal business type to have in this situation.
• I chose this type of business because I have a hobby/ interest in design and I like to put things together with my imagination
and creativity.
• There is a total of two partners. My partner, Alice, brings a degree in interior design, creativity, and experience in the business
field (by managing a retail store) into this business. Her imaginative, hardworking, and intelligent character will be very
beneficial in an interior design business. She is also really good at color matching, coming up with ideas, and communication.
• The advantages of a partnership include the collaboration of two minds and teamwork, as well as lesser risk on each owner.
• However, there are also disadvantages, which include less income for each owner, and compromises when it comes to decision
making.

love. We want to allow all of our customers to have their own unique touch to the decorations in their house, while still

• Our targeted audience are homeowners that are looking
for help with designing their house.
• Of course, the age group will be 20 years and older as
that is the age when people usually start buying their
own places to live.
• By creating different styles for each age group, we can
be successful in selling our services to particular
customers. For example, we can showcase our more
trendy designing ideas for younger homeowners and
our classic designing ideas for our older customers.
• Our advertisements and decors would be mature and
well made to attract customers.
• Once again, the type of customers that will use our
services are those who are buying or redecorating
houses.
• The image we want to convey is modern yet classic
styles that will attract all types of homeowners. We can
do this by offering high-end yet affordable furniture
options, colors that complement one another, and
designs that are cozy, warm, and homely, as well as 11
beautiful and long-lasting.
Advertising Plan and Slogan
• We are going to advertise this business through social
media, community newspaper/magazine
advertisements, and flyers. Eventually, when more
money is made, we would also like to advertise on a
local television station.
• The advertising will be done in places near the city of
Allen to attract the homeowners that live close by.
• Our goal with advertising is to get publicity and let
others know about our services to attract customers and
