Literacy rate comparison between rural and urban areas:

 In Pakistan there is a big difference of literacy rate in rural areas.

 Despite a very low average literacy rate, however, there are exceptional
cases where the rate is very high; for example, in Lahore, Islamabad and
Karachi etc. In these cities areas, the literacy rate is almost 75%, far above
of those in tribal and other rural areas.
 A 56% literacy rate is very low; this means that almost half of the country is
not educated and can contribute very little to economic
development because the major contribution in that area is made
through education.

disadvantage and the largest resistance in the development of a country.
Over half of Pakistanis live below the poverty line. In Pakistan many
children work and support their families. Now in such conditions, the role
and support of the government becomes unavoidable.
