WENT OVER THE STAGES OF THE WATER CYCLE WITH PICTURES ON THE BOARD

HAD EACH STUDENT TELL ME SOMETHING THEY LEARNED FROM THE LESSON
LESSON 2– EXTEND/ELABORATE

READ AN ARTICLE ALOUD AND INTERACTED WITH STUDENTS AS I READ.

SHINING MOMENT: WHEN ASKED WHAT DEW WAS, A STUDENT TOOK IT ONE STEP FURTHER AND
SAID THAT WHEN DEW HEATS UP IN THE SUN IT EVAPORATES INTO THE CLOUDS. (THIS STUDENT WAS
PRAISED FOR MAKING AN APPLICATION AND FOR USING THE VOCABULARY IN A NON-ROTE WAY)

PLAYED A TRIVIA GAME OVER THE WATER CYCLE CONTENT (TWO GROUPS GOT 8/10 AND TWO
GROUPS GOT 9/10)

• STUDENTS CREATED POSTERS TO SHOW OFF THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF THE STAGES OF THE
WATER CYCLE
