• Remove Knock Down Roller

• Remove Side Trim Knives

to the tops of the

remove sharp edges

Suggestions to get better results

• Set all the rollers with the same speed. Except the
buttlifter roller
• Check for sharp objects on the feed areas of the
machine (corners, high welding, hard facing, etc …)
• Remove any sharp corners on the basecutter discs
• Increase the distance between the elevator flights
(remove some flights)

Suggestions to get better results

• Install new knives (4mm) on the base cutter

• Install new knives on the topper
• Install new fan blades on the primary extractor.
• Improve the CULTIVATION on the seed cane plots
(parallel rows, cultivation, erect cane,...)
• Select cane without exposed eyes for planting
material
