• Part of the IGNITE video series created by SixClouds

• Targeted at children and pre-teens learning English as a second language.

• Objective:
• Create engaging and entertaining animation that teaches its viewers various
grammar rules and vocabulary through scenarios and conversations the
animated characters experience.

• Student’s role:
• Animate the videos with the provided lesson plan finished with the appropriate
background music and sound effects.
• Source for royalty free assets or create assets should Vyond not contain the
necessary assets.

• Outcome:
• Completed a total of 24 lessons, spanning from Buzz 1 to Buzz 3.

• Objective:
• Replace generated text-to-speech voices in animation with actual voice lines.

• Student’s role:
• Integrate the voice lines into the videos, making adjustments to the
animation to fit the pace of the new voice lines, as well as vetting through
the animation done.

• Outcome:
• Completed a total of 26 lessons. (December 31st 2018)

replace Vyond, as well as test out the shortlisted softwares

• Student’s role:
• Spearheaded the research as well as tested out 3 of the shortlisted
softwares
• Present findings to SixClouds core team

• Outcome:
• Created concept art piece for existing Buzz characters
• Looped animation using Adobe Animate (motion tweening)
• Short 2D animation using TVPaint (hand drawn)

dialogues in animation

• Record and clean voice lines, removing unwanted white noises and
regulating the amplitude of the sound waves

• Outcome:
• Recorded multiple voice lines for miscellaneous characters and cleaned 2
audio tracks
