eles não nadaram ontem.) diga I didn’t

Either pode ser usado enfaticamente,
quando duas alternativas, contraditórias ou
não, forem apresentadas. Either….or. Neste
caso, é traduzido como ou…ou, nem….nem.
E.x.:
You can either stay or go.
(Você pode ou ficar ou ir.)
Em frases negativas:
either …or + um verbo na forma
negativa.
E.x.:
She hasn’t bought either the meat or the
coffee.
( Ela não comprou nem a carne nem o café.)
* Caso seja um verbo na forma
positiva, usa-
se neither…nor( nem…nem).
E.x.:
Neither you nor he is (are)
wrong.
(Nem você nem ele está(estão)
