Introduction-Weiming ISC
Weiming ISCs are the unique advantages of the Weiming Michigan program and are the strong
academic support to our students. ISCs are bilingual, bicultural teachers to work closely at the
partner schools with our Weiming students, providing tutoring, school liaison, coaching,
counseling, and parent communication.
Before First Day
1. File the relevant paperwork and information prior to the first day with HR. (Jie add)

2. Work closely with a supervisor or mentor and ensure the ISC is oriented in the organization,
policies, facilities and more.
Discuss ISC role, goal and appropriate projects.

1. Have a tour at office and assigned school(Work space, Kitchen, Reception, Bathroom,Support
desk, HR area, mentor's office and etc.)

2. Understand ISC job expectation, think about:

What goods and services should the job produce?

What impact should the work have to the students and on the organization?

How do you want to act with students, colleagues, and supervisors?

What are the organizational values the employee must demonstrate?

What are the processes, methods, or means that you can use?

When ISC must arrive at the office/school?
Where ISC must park?
How you will access the building?
What the company’s/school’s dress code is?
