Combustion
1. Bulab 9672, such as m e ta llic salts or oxid
compounds, have small heat capacities. metal Theye c an
catalyze oxidation of C-C bonds from long chain fatty
acid alkane groups in coal/solid fuel, convert coal/solid
fuel into small molecules.

2. Bulab 9672 will increase the molecules heat movement,


reduce the solid fuel/coal’s heat capacity, enhance the
coal’s/solid fuel heat transfer. By adding chemical
additives, the coal/solid fuel ignition point is reduced,
heat conduction will speed up, the coal’s/solid fuel’s
internal temperature will be reduced a nd combustion
efficiency improved.

Four steps:
1 coal-particle drying, and then heating to the pyrolysis reaction temperature;
2 pyrolysis of the coal particle to produce non-condensable volatiles (gases), condensable
volatiles (tars) and a carbonaceous char;
3 oxidation of the combustible volatiles; and finally
4 char oxidation.

Project Title: Use of coal combustion catalyst Bulab9672 to reduce coal consumption Project member: Sarto & MyongHyeok
and Increase coal to steam ratio in Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFBC) boiler system.
Solution Implementation Plan:
Buckman was collect coal boiler operation performance before, during and after applying Bulab
Project Description / Purpose: 9672.Plant trial was performed for five ( 5) days operation in one boiler system. We monitor and collect

Current Situation:
Customer is Power Plant belong to sugar refinery in Indonesia. Customer produce a
premium sugar quality to supply F&B customer, like coca cola and others. Plant capacity is
1500 TPD. They has 5 units boiler of CFB boilers system and generate electric power 2x15
MW to support their process and utility operational. Due to high cost of energy and
increasing operation cost, customer want to improve plant reliabilities and energy
management in the boiler system and able to reduce boiler cost operation by at least 10% Results:
