SPIRITUAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL WELL-BEING.
OVERALL GOOD HEALTH AND WELLNESS

Physical health It means how your body functions. It includes being physically fit,
eating nutritiously, and getting adequate rest and sleep.
Social health Satisfying interpersonal relationship with others. It include
communication skills, empathy, and sense of accountability.
Mental health Being a lifelong learner by continusly wanting to learn new things
and improve one’s skills.
Emotional Health Understanding and liking yourself. Accepting and learning from
your mistakes. It mean showing your emotions in healthful
productive ways.
Moral-spiritual Being at peace and in harmony with yourself. It refers to your
health religion, principles, personal beliefs, values and faith
Environmental Understanding the effect of air, water, land to ourselves.
health Recognizing the impact of environmental and human-made hazard
and knowing how to protect ourselves from the hazards.

Infancy Birth – 1 Establishing trust
year old No fulfillment leads to feeling of mistrust.
Early childhood Developing a sense of personal control that make them secure and confident.
Performs basic actions and simple decisions.
No fulfillment leads to sense of inadequate and self-doubt.
Preschool children Asserting control and power over the environment that leads to sense of purpose.
No fulfillment leads to sense of guilt.
School age Develops a sense of pride in their accomplishments, abilities, competence, belief and
skills.
No fulfillment lead to doubt their abilities to be successful.
Adolescence Develop and develop a sense of self.
No fulfillment leads feeling of insecure and confused about themselves and their future.
Young adult State of exploring personal relationships and, develops closeness and committed
relationship with other people.
No fulfillment leads to less committed relationship and more likely suffer emotional
isolation, loneliness, and depression.
Adulthood Stage focuses on career and family. Feeling of contributing to their home/community.
No fulfillment leads to feeling of unproductive and uninvolved to the community.
Old age Reflecting back on life with few regrets and a general feeling of satisfaction.
