History of Fatima Group

Fatima Group contributes significantly to the economic


development of Pakistan. It was established in 1936 with
trading of commodities and gradually entered into the
manufacturing of various products. The Group has a success
story spread over seven decades, expanding its horizon from
trading to manufacturing. Today, the Group is engaged in
trading of commodities, manufacturing of fertilizers, textiles,
sugar, mining and energy.

Training and development
 Learning and development is a department in PFL for
training of employees
 This department keep focus on all employees individually.
 They first assess where the need is.
 Then they arrange training according to need.
 They develop the talent and abilities of employees.
 Trained them according to their job tasks.

 Now days in PFL there is a recruitment drive .
 Teams from PFL are going to universities and selecting the
young talent .

ORIENTATION IN FG
Its basically introduction to new employee about Fatima group.
When new employee come and join then this introductory
meeting is arranged.
This is tradition to arrange 5 to ten min conversation of new
employee with those employees who have same profession
