RATIONALE
 We are living unsustainability by wasting,
depleting, and degrading the earth’s natural
resources.
 One result of degrading the earth’s natural
capital is the lack of waste management
 The recycling of bio-degradable wastes can
help lessen landfills
 Aims to achieve an environmental sustainable
society

Summary of Findings
 Majority of the respondents were the youth
form the barangay (ages 20-29) and 66% are
of college level with the income of 10,000
below.
 The people in the barangay segregate their
waste properly because they have a waste
schedule when to collect the biodegradable
and the non-biodegradable and greatly
influenced by the barangay's “No
segregation, no collection” policy.
 As we asked the respondents about what
briquettes is all about 56.7% of them know
what briquettes is all about but they did not
make it as their livelihood and the doesn’t
implement it.
Conclusion
 Have knowledge but do not know the
process in making briquettes
 Expressed interest and willingness as to the
uses and benefits of briquettes
Recommendations
 Conduct seminars and trainings that will
introduce the process in making briquettes
 Barangay should make their implementations
regarding waste management more strict as to
minimize the water, air, and land pollution
caused by inappropriate disposal of waste
